In 1997 Draught Beer Services CC was formed as an out sourced company to manage South African Breweries Draught Beer customers in Kwazulu Natal. This was in keeping in line with SAB's policy to out source non-core business as well as create new business opportunities for previously disadvantaged persons. The company's focus was specifically on servicing and sanitizing of SAB's draught outlets.

In 1998 Liquidlogic was formed specifically for the purpose of sourcing draught and related equipment for SAB. This business grew fairly rapidly and complimented Draught Beer Services by offering added value in controlling warrantees and sufficient stocks of draught beer equipment. This service was not previously available in KZN. One year later, Liquidlogic started handling the refrigeration management for SAB. A year later Liquidlogic offered a full solution for refrigeration to SAB which was not previously available from any of the current businesses in the market. Another client that came on board at this time was ABI. We were contracted to manage all the post mix clients for the Durban region. This led to an overlap of the two businesses and necessitated a joining of Draught Beer Services and Liquidlogic. During this 3 year period, Draught Beer Services had almost doubled its customer database and all this data was transferred into the new call centre system used by Liquidlogic. This system has subsequently been replaced and upgraded several times to keep abreast of current technological innovations.

In 1998, Liquidlogic also opened a company in Mozambique to service all the draught clients. This business eventually grew to include refrigeration for Cervejas de Mozambique. By 2004 this business had grown to include all draught beer delivery as well as a separate air conditioning division making the company one of the top 3 air conditioning companies in Mozambique. During this period, Liquidlogic became more of a partner than a sub-contactor to CDM as most of its income was based on draught sales incentives and not on set fees. Liquidlogic Mozambique currently employs approximately 120 staff and includes clients such as CDM, Coca Cola, Mcel as well as several banking institutions.

Liquidlogic SA is currently contracted to SABMiller. We manage the draught Beer Clients for KZN as well as the Post mix clients for Durban, Pietermaritzburg and Northern Zululand.

We manufacture cold rooms for ABI, Spar, Checkers & Pick N' Pay & have an air-conditioning division.Some of our air-conditioning clients include ABI, Cray Valley Resins and Nedbank. The company currently employs 34 staff of which 20 are in the technical division and the balance in Sales, Call Centre and Management. Due to the refrigeration expertise within the company, we also do all the necessary refrigeration repairs and installation of specialized draught machines and airconditioners.

In April 2006, Liquidlogic had completed 10 years of service with SAB. The company offices are based in Shallcross, a small suburb near Durban. All the staff are incentive based. The call centre software system ATS used is in-house designed which provides our clients with a fairly comprehensive set of reports. These reports can be designed to accommodate individual client requirements. Due to the relatively small database, Liquidlogic try's to offer it's customers a personalized service with access to Management at all times, including after hours and weekends. Liquidlogic has been BEE compliant since 27th January 2005. The BEE compliance did not require any major structural changes within the company as most of the criteria had already been met. Our latest rating was carried out by BEESCORE. We are now at level one.
